A transformative $5 million real estate gift bolsters Mount Auburn Hospital’s cardiology programs and strengthens patient care.

A generous gift from the Carol K. Engler Foundation of $325,000 has established the Raizen Scholarship Program, which supports social work interns during their second-year placement training.

Mount Auburn Hospital aims to update the tools and technology available to its incredible cardiac health team. These updates will ensure the continued health of the Mount Auburn community as patient volume and needs grow and expand.

In 2023, Edwin “Ed” Huang, MD, was named President of Mount Auburn Hospital after serving as Interim President for over a year. With an emphasis on looking forward and continuing to build upon close ties with the community, Ed is leading the way to ensure the care at Mount Auburn is second to none.
