BID Needham is thrilled to announce the launch of the largest fundraising effort in the hospital’s history—Transforming Health Care Here: The Campaign for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham. The ambitious $40 million campaign will address the increased demand for care in the region, focusing on workforce development, access and innovation, and campus enhancements.
The cornerstone of the campaign is a remarkable $20 million gift from longtime supporter Valerie “Val” Trotman and her family. This contribution offers a once‐in‐a‐lifetime opportunity for BID Needham to reimagine the delivery of health care, here, in the community and make a difference in the lives of patients for decades to come. It is an honor to have Val and her family’s investment at this substantial level, as well as their advocacy in support of this landmark campaign.
