On Wednesday, June 19, David Passafaro, President of New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH), and the NEBH team welcomed nearly 300 guests for Dinner & A Show at MGM Grand Music Hall in Fenway. Held on the Juneteenth holiday, which was honored as part of the speaking program, the event featured a seated dinner and live entertainment in celebration of NEBH’s extraordinary work.
The evening was a tremendous success, raising more than $550,000, and providing a wonderful opportunity to hear from NEBH and Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) leaders and community members. In addition to Passafaro, speakers included Kevin Tabb, MD, President and CEO of BILH, Juan Lopera, Chief, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer of BILH, Chris Collins, Chair of the Board of Trustees at NEBH, and Judene Williams, Board of Trustees member at NEBH.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about NEBH’s Orthopedic Specialty Practice, a program that provides expert total care from pre-surgery to post- surgery for every patient regardless of insurance and/or background.
In light of the Boston Celtics’ historic 18th NBA Championship earlier in the week, we toasted our partner and one of our evening’s Platinum Sponsors, the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, and celebrated the team’s remarkable win. Guests then enjoyed music and dancing courtesy of the Sultans, a local band.
