Alan Nathan and his late wife, Elaine, spent significant time at Mount Auburn Hospital (MAH) throughout her seven-and-a-half-year treatment journey. Through all the ups and downs of her cancer care, the team at the MAH Hoffman Breast Center was there for her and Alan each step of the way.
After Elaine’s passing, Alan felt it was important to stay connected with MAH and to find a way to honor both his wife and the staff who treated her so compassionately. In recognition of Alan’s generous gift, MAH named a treatment area in her name. For Alan, giving back was a means of keeping Elaine’s memory alive, while simultaneously helping other people.
